Students are invited to participate in the competition in person!
The last stage of the competition in science and mathematics for students of grades 7 through 9 organized within the framework of the Project ended on 21 March 2010. The competition started electronically on the Project homepage: www.dzm.lv on 5 October 2009. Almost 3,000 participants registered for this competition in total, and out of this number 435 students have actively participated in each stage of the competition.
We would like to thank all the competitors for their enthusiasm to participate in the competition for the whole 23 weeks.
Out of the students who took part in the online competition on a regular basis 41 best competitors were invited to the last stage of the competition – final event – in person. Those students were selected in accordance with the competition regulations. Please refer to the section “For students” on the Project homepage at www.dzm.lv.
Our congratulations to the winners of the online competition that are kindly invited to compete in the last stage of the competition in person on 1 April, Riga, at the Project team office at Valdemāra iela 37, Riga.

An e-mail containing additional information about the competition has been sent to each student included in the list, as well as to the schools students are representing.
