Teachers meet to exchange their experiences at the seminar in Smiltene
On 15 April, Smiltene Grammar School hosted a seminar for teachers of biology, physics, chemistry and mathematics representing the schools involved in the Project (pilot schools and support schools). In order to give regional teachers the chance to exchange their experiences, as well as to develop their professional skills, observation and analysis of the demonstration lessons took place under the guidance of the Project specialists during the seminar.
After demonstration lessons the Project experts said with satisfaction that the seminar had achieved its objectives. Teachers had demonstrated lessons at Smiltene Grammar School in a very professional way, students had been creative, had actively engaged in the teaching-learning process and expressed their interest, as well as demonstrated good skills in using information technologies and laboratory equipment. As a result, teachers-observers had got new ideas and inspirations for their further work with students.
