Never before have there been so many opportunities! The world is wide open! Open for us and our children to learn, to explore, to experience. To make the most of it, we would like to share our knowledge and experience to perfect our educational system. Since 2005, with the financial support from the EU, Latvia has successfully implemented systemic reforms in science and mathematics education. Similar reforms of science, mathematics and technology education are carried out in different countries all over the world. To enrich the process of implementation of the said reforms with the experience of other countries, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia opened the platform for exchanging experience and opening discussions for education experts.
The Summit was organized as a platform for exchanging experiences and views of the practitioners, government officials and education experts from 13 countries.
The Summit was hosted by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia, State Education Centre, the University of Latvia, Riga City Council and Latvian National Commission for UNESCO.
